In some instances, submitting a rebate is as easy as mailing the following items:

1. Filled-out rebate form
2. Copy of the purchase receipt
3. Bar code from the product's box

Sometimes more steps are necessary.   Here are some tips about things companies may require:

• Tip - Make copies of anything you mail.
  After filling out the rebate form, make copies of everything you submit (including the rebate form).   In the event that you don't receive your rebate in time, you will be able to contact the company and provide them with the exact information mailed, so that they can track and give you the status of your rebate.
• Circling the date of purchase
  Cirlce the the date of purchase on the receipt.
• Circling the product
  Circle the product and price on the receipt.
• Model number
  Model numbers may appear on the product box and/or on the product.   Sometimes the model number is found in the battery compartment.
• Serial number
  Serial numbers appear on the product.   Sometimes the serial number is found in the battery compartment.
